The Taffy's ready!

After experiencing incredible generosity at Vassar College in the fall, work to configure audio and video from the Elizabeth Bishop Lecture Installation has produced two video pieces and nineteen sound sculptures, each of which contains either the entire soundtrack from the Lecture Installation or contains the soundtrack from the end of the introduction through the end of the Lecture as captured/determined by technicians who were instrumental in capture and feedback protocols during the event that enabled the producing of the video taffy and the sound sculptures now available to anyone who visits this site.

Because, by design, so many have contributed to the Lecture Installation, the video taffy and sound sculptures the Lecture Installation produced are coauthored, co-owned, so here I give the pieces back to the community whose contributions are the wild and rich root system from which the video taffy and sound sculptures grow.

Now, these sound sculptures have an opportunity to become seeds.
You are invited to plant them and grow something else, provided that you share what grows
and that you leave a comment here (click on post title to access comment area) and leave a link to what you
(in concert with all the other coauthors)
have made.

Stardust are we?  Made of celestial residue?  Remixes of cosmic debris.
Entirely products of precedents, children of so much, so many.

Your visit is an Act of Taffy!  Thanks!
